PLAN THE PROJECT

A Clearer Way to Handle the Debris.

Cleanouts are easier when unwanted items can move directly from the property into one container. A roll-off dumpster lets families, homeowners, realtors, and property managers work at their own pace instead of coordinating repeated hauling trips.

Merit provides 15- and 20-yard containers for projects throughout Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, El Paso County, and Teller County. Before delivery, identify bulky items, appliances, mattresses, electronics, or anything unusual so acceptance and possible special charges can be confirmed.

Material matters: Appliances, mattresses, tires, electronics, batteries, liquids, and regulated items must be disclosed before loading. Review the rental and debris rules or call before loading anything unusually dense or regulated.

BEFORE DELIVERY

A Better Drop Starts With a Better Plan.

1

Separate Donations First

Set aside reusable items before loading so the dumpster is reserved for actual disposal.

2

Identify Special Items

Appliances, mattresses, tires, electronics, and other items may need approval or added charges.

3

Break Down Furniture

Disassemble large pieces when practical to reduce empty space and avoid a second container.

4

Keep Access Open

Do not park vehicles or stack material in the truck's delivery and pickup path.

PROJECT QUESTIONS

Estate and Home Cleanout Dumpster FAQ

Need a quick answer? Call or text (719) 203-2529.

What size dumpster is best for a home cleanout?

A 15-yard container can work for a focused garage, basement, or room cleanout. A 20-yard container is generally better for whole-home, estate, or furniture-heavy projects.

Can furniture go in a cleanout dumpster?

Many common furniture items may be accepted, but disclose the planned contents before delivery. Break down bulky pieces when possible and keep everything below the top rail.

Can appliances or mattresses go in the dumpster?

These items require advance approval and may carry special disposal charges. Do not load them until Merit confirms acceptance.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

Delivery details can be coordinated in advance. The placement area and access route must be clearly marked, open, firm, and safe for the delivery truck.

EMPTY, THEN CLEAN

The Two Halves of a Cleanout

Clearing a property and cleaning it are separate jobs, and they have to happen in that order. A container handles the first: furniture, appliances, accumulated storage, everything that has to leave. What is left afterwards is what an inspection, a buyer or a new tenant actually looks at. Oven interiors, cabinet and drawer interiors, window tracks, baseboards, empty closets.

Our sister company Everpine Cleaning is also veteran-owned and covers the same corner of Colorado. If you are handing over a property, read their move-out cleaning checklist before you book either service. A move-out clean needs an empty home with the utilities still on, so the dumpster comes first.
